BECOME A LION
There is no secret to becoming a Lion. In fact, many Lions will tell you that they would have joined Lions Clubs International sooner had they known how simple it was to become a Lion.
While membership to The Ithaca Lions Club is by invitation, beginning the process is as easy as calling or e-mailing our Club. Or, you can express your interest in the Club. Once you have attended three meetings and have determined that Lionism is for you, you will be provided a membership application. Following an affirmative vote by Club membership, you will be inducted as a member.
With membership comes the responsibility to serve in some capacity – be it on a committee, as an officer or simply as an involved member sharing your talents for the good of community.
It’s as easy as:
- Contacting us by phone or e-mail or contacting a member
- Attending a Club meeting or activity to experience Lionism
- Returning for two more meetings
- Completing a Membership Application
- Pay a one time $30 Registration fee for Lions Club International, plus $65 dues yearly
- Being inducted as a Lion
